The Lockdown Piping Club was launched in January 2021 as the country experienced heightened restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This was to ensure that the piping community did not miss out on another year of new starts, to provide participants the opportunity to try something new and to give us all a much needed focus throughout the week.
Over a thousand people of all ages are currently taking part and the online classes are available to work through at your own pace. Sign up to receive the link to your first lesson and more information. If you don’t have a chanter, you can buy one on this website for £32.50, or grab the nearest pen or pencil and learn the very basic finger work there! Remember, the classes are completely free.
